ABOUT KAREN AS A LIFE COACH
After enduring many disappointments, illness, divorce, and traumas over the years, I decided to educate myself on how people can overcome life’s challenges. In my quest, I have obtained an Associate degree in Mental health and Addiction Studies, a Bachelors degree in Community Service, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. In addition to my formal education and 57 years of life, I am a Certified Professional Coach who specializes in trauma. I am certified in 7 different coaching models. I consider myself to be a life-long learner; not only in academics, but in life itself.
What I’ve discovered is that hurts, struggles, and betrayals are universal. It does not matter if you are rich, poor, professional, ordinary or religious. I teach clients how to survive trauma by identifying, un-meshing, and healing from toxic relationships. I’m especially skilled in supporting women who have encountered narcissistic individuals who psychologically abuse their victims. Narcissist abuse is quite different from physical abuse; the injuries ache more, yet they are invisible. It is an insidious progression of toxic behaviors that diminishes one’s self-worth, self-esteem and identity. I work one-on-one with clients to help them break free of toxic and codependency characteristics and behaviors and overcome narcissistic abuse for good.
